Eating a Plant Based Dairy Free Diet

Being vegan doesn’t have to be hard! In fact if you start out with a dairy free diet you will be on your way to a clean vegan diet.  I started eating a vegan/plant based diet about 2 years ago, and I haven’t looked back.  It has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life, and I’m so glad that I did it.  If you would like more information make sure you check out


One of the first things I had to train myself to do was look at the labels on food boxes.  If I didn’t look at it then I knew I would get home and be disappointed to find that there was milk or eggs in whatever I was eating.  Now I make a lot of the same meals and I know what I can and cannot buy.


One of the things you also have to do is change your mindset about your diet.  A lot of people feel sorry for me and say things like “oh you can’t eat that”, but I respond and say “I choose not to eat that.”  Do you see the difference?  Once your mindset changes and you realize that you are in control of what you eat then it becomes a lot easier to say no to things.


Another thing is even though you are saying no to eating something you are in reality saying yes to health!  Another thing I was into before my vegan diet was eating yogurt to get probiotics.  I thought that yogurt and cultured milk products was the best way to get bacteria, but boy was I wrong.  You can really find some great dairy free probiotics out there that are a lot better for you!
